Last Tuesday, we celebrated the official launch of Enough Hair and Wellness Studio – a unique salon offering premium beauty services with a difference! The incredible multi-purpose space is committed to being ethical and sustainable without sacrificing the luxurious salon experience.

Owner, Lisa Nguyen, noticed how damaging certain ingredients can be in common hair and beauty products, she decided to make a change.

“People may not be aware that many everyday products are full of harmful ingredients – toxins, chemicals, alcohol, the list is endless… Enough Studio is a salon where customers can be reassured they’re in good hands.

I pride myself on offering clients a ‘full-salon experience’, whilst using only the best organic products available to ensure your hair is left looking beautiful, but most importantly, feeling healthy!” says Lisa.

Enough Studio proudly and exclusively utilise and stock brands such as OWAY and Mr. Smith that are Australian made, PETA certified and free from sulphates, parabens and other harmful substances.

Passionate about supporting the local community, Enough Studio has partnered with Sustainable Salons Australia (SLA) to ensure 95% of salon waste and material is reused, recycled and repurposed.

“Proceeds from recycled matter are donated to organisations such as Oz Harvest, Plastic Forests and Variety: The Children’s Charity… We’re proud to be part of this community and to be doing our bit to protect our planet,” says Lisa.

Berlin based designer, Amy Wenden, played a large role in bringing the Enough Studio vision to life – along with a number of local designers and suppliers including Matt Pearson of MJP Studio and Jordan Gower of Aburi Ceramics and Love Concrete.

“As soon as you enter the salon, the attention to detail is prominent – from the multi-level layout and design, to the colour palette and lighting… Even the curation of beverages served to clients has had thorough thought put into it…

“My vision was to create a space with unique and memorable décor. Everything in the salon is functional and mobile, which will allow people to host private functions in both levels,” says Lisa.

Embracing their holistic ethos, Enough Studio will also offer massage, yoga classes and meditation sessions at 298-300 Unley Road, Hyde Park.
